Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis)  and Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) have both been used as a remedy for itchy skin caused by bug bites, minor rashes, and even poison ivy.
 
CAUTION: Always consult your doctor if a rash persists, and NEVR use this product after exposure to poison ivy unless it has been throughly washed and cleaned. Adding any oil based product to a fresh poision ivy rash that has not been cleaned of all urushiol can cause the rash to spread. Only use this product after skin has been throughly washed.
