Made famous by the herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, a basic fire cider recipe can include any variety of kitchen herbs and ingredients, and is then covered in apple cider vinegar to infuse and extract the beneficial components of the herbs and fruits.

 

Each Fire Cider recipe is different, but the majority of recipes include these three parts; fruit, fire, and “fixins”/herbs. 

Ours includes:

Fruit:

Lemon

 

Fire:

Peppers, Garlic, Black Pepper, Ginger, Cinnamon

 

Fixins/Herbs:

Rosemary, Thyme, Sage

 

FOR BEST SHELF STABILITY, STORE THIS JAR IN YOUR FRIDGE FOR THE 6 WEEKS OF INFUSION TIME, AND THEN KEEP THE TONIC IN THE FRIDGE AFTER STRAINING. It will keep in the fridge for up to 3 months.

 *You can take your tbsp dosage while the herbs are still infusing.
